I find it funny. We swear it's not a lot what we're looking for, but we keep swearing that when we find it, it will be the one. I couldn't help but wonder, how can someone so easy to find be so unique to deserve the tag "the one"?
Then I stopped to think about the true relationships I knew of. I couldn't find any. My friend Olga is no longer in love with her partner, and she assures not to dismiss the possibility of falling in love again out of the relationship. Ramza is out with a guy who has several self-esteem problems which do not let them enjoy the moment. Linda is having one of the times of her life. She's dating a guy she's never seen in person.
With this scenario, it's undeniable something's gone wrong with love. What is it? What could have made such a deep impact on people looking for it? The media. The media is constantly showing stories of love and hope. Everybody feels the main character in their film. They all feel worthy of love. But let's be realistic. Love as we understand it is one chance out of millions. Thus, has the world gone mad? Maybe. People look for love and often get awfully confused by barely anything that drops by.
Truth is, love is today's God.
